We've updated Hugo with RenderMan shaders! No more Mental Ray for him. Now you can more easily light and render your scenes just like you do with our other characters!

Rigs Updated: File Sizes just got BIGGER!

Yes, it's true. Our rig files just became a lot bigger and longer to download. More specifically, the Hero and Tyrannus characters are about double the size they used to be. So is that a good thing or a bad thing? I think it's a good thing but I'm open to discussing it, if anyone has questions?

Generally, when I have to animate a tail, there are two scenarios I find myself in. The first, wondering why the rig has so many controls that it becomes difficult to animate. The second, wondering why the rig has so few controls that it becomes difficult to animate. Wouldn't it be great if you could be the one deciding how many controls you needed?
